Will this replace Xero?
No. WorkGuru handles the job side — quoting, scheduling, timesheets, purchasing and job costs — and syncs with Xero for your accounting. You keep the system you already use.
How hard is it to get started?
We set it up with you using your own jobs and process, and run twice-weekly drop-in sessions while you find your feet. Most workshops are running live jobs within a few weeks.
Is this only for fabrication businesses?
No. It’s built for project-based workshops generally — fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, machining, joinery and similar. If you run jobs with labour, materials and a due date, it fits.
Our jobs change once they hit the floor. Does that break the costing?
